Installing a French Drain Between Elevated Landscape Beds

The channel you can see is the main channel, it’s going to be the discharge location for the water.

We have two french drain channels lying together here. There are two elevated landscape beds, one on either side. Each contributing to the water problem and making it impossible to mow the grass. With a clay plan under this beautiful, thick grass, you need a good slope for the water to drain away; there is some slope here however, it is not enough. The stone channel of this french drain is what they need to firm the ground and allow them to use and maintain this space again.

The channels are right up against the retaining walls, this is so all the water that is coming away from the home will end up here. The french drain will pick it up and evacuate it from the area.
